We provide a platform for all aspiring models, dancers & all artists where all aspiring models can participate & make their Name in the world of Fashion. Terms & Condition


General

1.The applicant must agree to abide by all rules, as changed from time to time by the Organizers.

2. The applicant should be between 18 - 25 years of age as on 31st December 2017. The applicant will be required to produce their age proof (Passport, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, driver's license, etc).

3. The applicant uses the prefix 'Miss'(or equivalent) before her name.

4. The applicant should not / have not been married and never been through any ceremony directly or indirectly, either valid or invalid, whether civil, religious or tribal which is recognized as a marriage ceremony in any part of the world and should never have had a marriage annulled or never given birth to a child; have never been pregnant nor been a parent.

5. The applicant should be a natural born male or female.

6. The applicant should be a bonafide Indian citizen, holding a valid Indian passport and should be a resident of India as per the applicable laws of India.

7. The applicant or the applicant's immediate family should not be related to any person employed in Rio Production (A Group of M/s Riovera Modelling & Films Pvt. Ltd.), or any other company of the contest sponsors, and their sub - contractors, any Freelancer attached with our Company, or any of the judges as informed to the applicant at any stage. In case of such a relation, the applicant must disclose the same immediately.

8. The applicant should not be under any commercial contract with any modeling agency at the time of appearing for the auditions.

9. The applicant once shortlisted cannot be a part of any other commercial contract or pageant.

10. The Organizers are not responsible for any delays or non-receipt of applications on any account and for any reason whatsoever.

11. The applicant should not have won the pageant previously.

12. The applicant should not have been qualified for or taken part in any contest as a representative of any country other than India.

13. The regional round expenses (travel & stay) will have to be borne by the participant.

14. The applicant will have to participate in a disciplined and diligent manner throughout as per schedule given.

15. The Organizers are not responsible for any loss or physical injury that occur to the applicant on account of their participation in the event. The applicant will participate at her own risk and can have no claim against Rio Production (A Group of Riovera Modelling & Films Pvt. Ltd.) in any regard.

16. Incorrect information will result in disqualification, whether discovered prior to, during or after participation.

17. The decision of the judges is final in all cases.

18. Only persons of good health, sound mind and having no medical history of any mental illness and having a good moral character can participate made herein.

19. The applicant does not have any cases (criminal or civil) registered against her.

20. Only the applicant will be allowed inside the designated venue of the preliminaries.

21. The schedule of events and qualification rounds are subject to change at the discretion of the Organizer.

22. The Organizers are not responsible for non-completion/non-occurrence of the event.

23. In the event of any dispute, the Organizers decisions are final and binding on the applicant.

24. The Honorable Courts of Karnataka have the jurisdiction over all disputes.

By submitting the entry form and fee(s) to Mr. & Miss Icon India, or Director of any Preliminary Pageant leading to the Mr. & Miss Icon India, Delegate agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Mr. & Miss Icon India. Participation in the Mr. & Miss Icon India also indicates acceptance and agreement to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Mr. & Miss Icon India. Delegate attests that all information submitted to, is true and accurate. Falsification of information and failure to comply with the policies of Mr. & Miss Icon India may result in immediate disqualification and/or forfeiture of Enrolment without benefit of refund of fees amount in full or in part paid for the registration at the sole discretion of Mr. & Miss Icon India.

Mr. & Miss Icon INDIA

Must be 18-26 years of age as of December 31st of the competition year 2019 Delegates may be 17 years of age provided that they reach their 18th birthday by December 1st of the competition year.

Gender

Entrant must be a naturally born genetic female.

Preliminary Pageants

A delegate is required to enter into a state preliminary pageant to qualify for the Miss Icon India if there is a state pageant. National Identity Preliminary pageant entrant agrees to look solely to the preliminary Pageant Director with respect to all matters relating to her application, rules, regulations, policies, preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process, and all other matters relating to the preliminary pageant. , its members, managers, agents and employees are not liable to entrant for anything whatsoever in connection with the preliminary pageant. Entrant agrees to attend the Miss Icon India if selected as the winner in a preliminary pageant and further abide by all the required services, rules and regulations governing this pageant. Winner of a national pageant is not eligible to re-compete in the same preliminary pageant.

Winner of national pageants may re-enter the international pageant as an at-large delegate once she has fulfilled her obligations as specified by the rules and regulations of the preliminary pageant. Participants of preliminary pageants who are not named as the winning titleholder(s) may apply to become an at-large delegate following the conclusion of the preliminary pageant. Delegates may qualify for more than one preliminary; the following is what is generally determined in a Delegates participation in a preliminary pageant: Eligibility for at-large state titles is determined by meeting at least one of the following criteria:

Current residency, employment, student status, property owner or born in the state.

“At-Large” Entry

“At-large” refers to the status of any delegate who enters the Miss Icon India directly at the national level without first winning a preliminary pageant.

Upon receipt of required deposit, at-large applicant is placed into “pending” status regarding title assignment. At-large applicant may make payments or may make payment in full at the time of application. At-large titles are assigned upon receipt of paperwork, photo(s) and payment in full of required fees. retains full and ultimate authority for any and all decisions regarding assignment of titles to at-large delegates for representation associated with the Miss Icon India.

At large delegate agrees to look solely to with respect to all matters relating to the application, the preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process and all other matters relating to this pageant.

retains the right to assign titles to at-large delegates at any time for upcoming Miss Icon India (i.e., a 2018 at-large state titleholder may be assigned during the 2018 calendar year, even if the title is being held contemporaneously by a 2018 at-large delegate).

Returning Delegates

Former national winners of Miss Icon India are not eligible to compete for Miss Icon India.

At large delegates may re-enter the national pageant from year to year.

Winners of preliminary pageants are not eligible to re-compete for the same state title unless approved by their state Director; she may enter under another state or regional title.

Commercial Tie-Up

Entrant may have a modeling, commercial tie-up, personal management and/or agency contract, Which contract however does not include, authorize or permit the use of the name of the Miss Icon India or any other registered trademark or trade name of or any title designation or reference with respect to the pageant in any manner.

Eligibility/Acceptance Determination Agreement

All issues as to eligibility shall be determined solely and exclusively by Miss Icon India.

Entrant agrees to abide by eligibility determination both as to her and others. Entrant agrees to produce an original copy of her birth certificate to verify age and gender upon request. Entrant agrees to produce a color copy of her Passport or application of her Passport prior to the reserves the right to refuse entry into the Miss Icon India to anyone for any reason.

COMPETITION JUDGING

Miss Icon India is a traditional beauty pageant for Women of the who are ages 18-30. Areas of competition include: Interview, Swimsuit, and Evening Gown. Finalists will be interviewed on-stage for their interview score.

PRELIMINARY SHOW

Preliminary Show

The Miss Icon India National Preliminary Pageant™ will consist of a Swimsuit competition segment which will be weighted at 50% and an Evening Gown competition segment which will be weighted at 50%

Swimsuit (50%).

Miss Icon India ™ must exemplify a lifestyle of good physical, emotional and intellectual health. Winner should be physically fit, with good muscle tone and body proportion.

Delegates can model a 1-piece or 2-piece swimsuit.

Swimsuit may have cut-outs, mesh, and/or embellishments

Swimsuit must be in good taste. No thongs or allowed.

A solid color swimsuit is recommended, but not required.

High heels (e.g., acrylic, taupe, skin-tone) are recommended but not required.

Judging criteria: fitness, modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense

Evening Gown (50%).

Miss Icon India™ must carry herself with dignity, grace, poise and elegance. Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate’s on-stage presentation.

Evening gown must be floor length.

Judging criteria: modeling, personality, beauty, and grooming and fashion sense.

FINAL SHOW

The Miss Icon India will consist of an Opening Number segment (not judged),

Interview competition segment which will be weighted at 10%,

Swimsuit competition segment which will be weighted at 45%

Evening Gown competition segment which will be weighted at 45%

Opening Production Number (not judged).

The Miss Icon India will include a choreographed opening number.

Delegates shall wear the designated color for opening number as specified by Miss Icon India®.

Information about the 2018 Opening Production Number and required attired to be posted when available.

The Opening Production Number is not judged.

Swimsuit (45%):

Miss Icon India™ must exemplify a lifestyle of good physical, emotional and intellectual health.Winner should be physically fit, with good muscle tone and body proportion.

Delegates can model a 1-piece or 2-piece swimsuit.

Swimsuit may have cut-outs, mesh, and/or embellishments.

On Stage Interview (10%)

Miss Icon India™ must be able to express herself with confidence. Finalists will respond to a series of questions on-stage. The questions will be taken from information listed on the delegate’s fact sheet.

Judging criteria: Articulation, Quality of Response, Beauty, Personality

JUDGING

A minimum of 4 judges will evaluate delegates in the areas of competition.

RIO Production, RIOVERA Modeling & films Pvt Ltd has sole discretion and complete authority to select judges.

Reasonable efforts are made to secure a culturally and professionally diverse panel of judges.

Judges’ names are not released to delegates prior to arrival at the pageant.

Delegates may not approach the judges or engage in conversation with judges prior to or during The Competition. Delegates who are observed approaching a judge or engage in conversation with a judge beyond a brief greeting risk immediate disqualification at the discretion of

Judges are provided with training and instruction regarding scoring procedures prior to the competition.

The decision of the judges is final and not contestable for any reason.

SCORING

Scoring is conducted on a 10-point scale:

9-10 = Excellent

7-8 = Very Good

5-6 = Good

3-4 = Average

1-2 = Below Average

BREAKING TIES

The following procedure is used to break ties:

Each judge will assign the Top 5 finalists a ranking from 1 to 5 (1 = “Winner”, 5 = “4th Runner-Up”.) A ranking of 1st = 5 pts, 2nd = 4 pts, 3rd = 3 pts, 4th = 2 pts, 5th = 1 pt. Points earned from rankings are added to the delegates’ scores.

If the rankings do not resolve the tie(s), the higher individual competition score will determine The higher placement in this order: Onstage Interview, Evening Gown and Swimsuit.

If there are ties for Semi-Finalists positions, then the higher of the Onstage Interview, Evening Gown and Swimsuit will be used to break the tie.

STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT

ENTRY FEE / PAYMENTS

An entry fee is required to enter the Miss Icon India as a delegate.

The fee amount is advertised on the Miss Icon India (RIO Production) website.

Delegate may seek sponsors or may pay the entry fee herself.

Payment may be made by personal check, money order, or credit card via PayU Money on Behalf of RIO Production,RIOVERA Modeling & Films Pvt. Ltd.

Delegates may make payments toward the total entry fee.

Payments of any amount must be made at least every 30 days until the total fee is received. Failure to remit payment every 30 days may result in loss of title and fees paid.

The Miss Icon India is self-supporting and relies solely upon RIO Production, RIOVERA Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd entry fees to cover production expenses. Production expenses include but are not limited to:

Advertising, hotel rentals, theater rentals, performers’ fees, judges’ expenses, staging, supplies, prizes, awards, etc.

A significant percentage of the entry fee is directed back to each delegate in the form of crown, sash, meals, Entertainment, parties, gifts, and prizes.

REFUND POLICY

All fees paid for Miss Icon India under RIOVERA Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd (RIO Production) are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part for under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to entry fees, advertising fees, Pageant admission ticket sales fees, guest meal fees and any other fees paid to Miss Icon India by anyone including, but not limited to, delegates, sponsors, and advertisers.

DEADLINES

The entry deadlines are posted in the Miss Icon India paperwork. Entry fees must be paid in full by the final entry deadline. Preliminary pageants must be concluded by the entry deadline. There will be no exceptions under any circumstances. All required delegate paperwork (e.g., Biographical Information Form, etc.) must be complete and received by by the paperwork deadline which is posted in the paperwork.

Required headshot photo for the Official Program Book must be received by the deadline which is posted in the paperwork. All deadlines are strictly enforced and must be adhered to by entrant and preliminary pageant directors. Entrant (and director, if applicable) understands and agrees to the following penalty for late submission of required items, including paperwork, photography and full payment of fees by posted deadlines: A total of 1 point per day per late item is deducted from delegate’s total score.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Photography. Entrant must submit a headshot photo for the Miss Icon India website and Program Book Photo.

Attire. Delegates provide their own competition attire. Other wardrobe requirements will be posted on the pageant website.

Travel. Delegates make their own travel arrangements. , is not responsible for arranging travel or Intervening/resolving disputes involving travel to the host site for the pageant competition.

Hotel. Delegates are required to stay at the host hotel only. Delegate's families must make their own Accommodation & Travel Expenses.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Entrant affirms that she is and will continue to be a person of good moral character; that she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions or that will reflect unfavorably on the pageant, its representatives, sponsors any Agreement and/or licensees; that she has not appeared in nude or provocative photographs for any film or publication prior to, during the pageant finals, or during her reign should she become a Preliminary Winner or at-large delegate.

Delegate will conduct herself in a courteous, professional manner at all times during the Miss Icon India Pageant™ and while representing a Miss Icon India™ title. Delegate will not slander or libel other contestants, judges; staff or anyone else involved with or connected to the Miss Icon India Defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against and the Miss Icon India will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any and all prizes and awards won, and legal charges.

Any delegate found publicly posting slanderous remarks on public forums will be immediately disqualified. Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. Disruptive behavior before, during, or after the pageant may result in disqualification, removal from the premises, and legal charges. Delegate agrees to sign a Code of Conduct statement indicating agreement to abide by the terms specified here. Failure to sign the Code of Conduct statement does not in any way release delegate from responsibility to abide by the Code of Conduct stated here.

All issues related to the Code of Conduct and consequences for violation thereof shall be determined solely and exclusively by. Entrant agrees to accept such determinations made by. Both as to herself and others.

PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL PAGEANT EVENTS

Delegates are expected to be on time and present for all scheduled rehearsals and events leading up to and during the pageant finals. Delegates will lose 1 point for each unexcused missed event. In the event of illness, a delegate may be excused from attending an event.( RIOVERA Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd ) RIO Production’s, Countries National Director is the only individual with the authority to release a delegate from a scheduled event.

WINNER’S CONTRACT

If selected as a Miss Icon India, delegate agrees to sign a contract stating agreement to arrange and make a minimum of 12 appearances throughout her year’s reign. Appearances may include but are not limited to parades; radio, television and newspaper interviews; and public appearances at events. Winners are expected to provide with photos of appearances for the Miss Icon India Website and promotion. If delegate is unwilling to sign the contract and/or unable or unwilling to fulfill the obligations, the title won and all prizes will be awarded to the first runner up.

The reign of Miss Icon India will commence immediately after crowning and will end immediately following the Rolling crown of another successor in next upcoming event. Winner should not lost, harm and/or damage the Miss Icon India Crown.

If found that the miss Icon India crown is lost, Harmed and/or damaged then the handling winner will have to pay the fine charges as asked by the Rio Productions Authorities.( Riovera Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd )

Miss Icon India agrees to make yearly contract with Miss Icon India, by phone, letter, fax or e-mail. Miss Icon India agrees to provide Miss Icon India, with photo copies of articles pertaining to her reign and pictures of appearances for the pageant history scrapbook. Miss Icon India agrees that she will not enter any other pageant or compete for any other titles during her year’s reign without the prior written permission from Miss Icon India. The Miss Icon India title is the overall winner’s main pageant-related priority.

Winner is expected to give her time and energy to this title and this title only during their year’s reign. Permission for Miss Icon India to participate in other pageants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Winner may have a modeling, commercial tie-up, personal management and/or agency contract, which contract however does not include, authorize or permit the use of the name of the Miss Icon India, or any other registered trade name, trademark or logo of Miss Icon India, or any title designation or reference with respect to the pageant in any manner. Miss Icon India agrees to attend the next year’s pageant for crowning the next successor. Winner’s travel, lodging, and meal expenses will be arranged for and paid by Miss Icon India®.

STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING AND AGREEMENT

Publicity and Promotion

By virtue of participation in the Miss Icon India, Delegate agrees to allow Miss Icon India, the right to use her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion now and in the future.

Delegate understands that her name, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information may be used on the internet, in print advertising, press releases and merchandise related to the Miss Icon India(e.g., t-shirts, tote bags, hats, other apparel, mouse pads, and other promotional materials.) Delegate agrees to release RIO Production from liability for any injury resulting from publicity and promotion. Delegate agrees to waive any and all compensation for use of her name, likeness, voice, and /or biographical information for purposes of publicity and promotion.

Photography & Videography

Delegates and their families are permitted to take photos and video during events leading up to the on-stage pageant competition event. Cameras or videography will not be allowed during any on-stage competition events. Individuals who fail to comply with this rule will be asked to leave the venue Without benefit of refund for admission ticket. Professional photography and videography will be made available by the Official Miss Icon India Photographer and Videographer.

Disqualification / Title Relinquishment

If delegate is disqualified or relinquishes, for any reason, any title awarded to her, all prizes must be returned in full, and in condition received. If, for any reason, the winner resigns or is disqualified, the 1st runner-up will assume the title and all prizes.

Limitation of Liability / Responsibility

a.)RIO Production (Riovera Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd), its officers, directors, agents and employees are not liable to entrant for anything whatsoever in connection with any preliminary pageant leading to the Miss Icon India. Preliminary pageant entrant agrees to look solely to the preliminary Pageant Director with respect to all matters relating to her application, rules, Regulations, policies, preparation, rehearsal, performance and selection process, and all other matters relating to the preliminary pageant.

b.)Its officers, employees,and pageant personnel are not responsible for accidents, Injury or theft incurred at the time of the Miss Icon India or travel to and from.

c.) RIO Production (Riovera Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd) is not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of pageant sponsors, judges or contract vendors (e.g., photographer, videographer, etc.). who may be providing products or services to delegates at the Miss Icon India.

d.) RIO Production (Riovera Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd) is not responsible for negligence or fraud on the part of the host hotel.

e.) RIO Production (Riovera Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd)is not responsible for arranging travel or intervening/resolving disputes Surrounding travel to the host location for the pageant competition.

f.) RIO Production (Riovera Modeling & Films Pvt Ltd) is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage caused to any and all prizes, gifts, and awards bestowed upon entrant after these items become the property of entrant. Entrant agrees to incur replacement and/or repair costs to lost, stolen, or damaged items including but not limited to: crown/tiara, sash, plaques, trophies, etc.

Dispute and Dispute Resolution

The courts of competent jurisdiction at Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any and all disputes arising out of, or in connection with, the Miss Icon India , NATIONAL Services provided by Miss Icon India, NATIONAL (including the Contest(s)), the construction, validity, interpretation and Enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the User(s) (including Participants) or Miss Icon India, NATIONAL, as well as the exclusive jurisdiction to grant interim or preliminary relief in case of any dispute referred to arbitration as given below. All such issues and questions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

In the event of any legal dispute (which may be a legal issue or question) which may arise, the party raising the dispute shall provide a written notification ("Notification") to the other party. On receipt of Notification, the parties shall first try to resolve the dispute through discussions. In the event that the parties are unable to resolve the dispute within ten (30) days of receipt of Notification, the dispute shall be settled by arbitration. The place of arbitration shall be Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

All arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English and in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended from time to time. The arbitration award will be final and binding on the Parties, and each Party will bear its own costs of arbitration and equally share the fees of the arbitrator unless the arbitral tribunal decides otherwise. The arbitrator shall be entitled to pass interim orders and awards, including the orders for specific performance and such orders would be enforceable in competent courts. The arbitrator shall give a reasoned award. Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall prevent Miss Icon India,

NATIONAL from seeking and obtaining interim or permanent equitable or injunctive relief, or any other relief available to safeguarding Miss Icon India, NATIONAL interest prior to, during or following the filing of arbitration proceedings or pending the execution of a decision or award in connection with any arbitration proceedings from any court having jurisdiction to grant the same. The pursuit of equitable or injunctive relief shall not constitute a waiver on the part of Miss Icon India, NATIONAL to pursue any remedy for monetary damages through the arbitration described herein.

Agreement

By submitting the entry form and fee(s) to Miss Icon India, or Director of any Preliminary Pageant leading to the Miss Icon India, Delegate agrees to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Miss Icon India. Participation in the Miss Icon India also indicates acceptance and agreement to abide by all policies, rules and regulations set forth by Miss Icon India.

Delegate attests that all information submitted to , is true and accurate. Falsification of information and failure to comply with the policies of Miss Icon India may result in immediate disqualification and/or forfeiture of prizes won without benefit of refund in full or in part at the sole discretion of Miss Icon India.
